Delays and Missing Information

If I am not missing updates from some games then they are delayed. I want to thank eveyone that is really doing thier part to help out on this, but with partial participation i can't do a clean and correct update. Once I get all the scores for last week I will update for that and then try my best to send some e-mails or make some calls.

I have to share some of the blame for the lack of updates as well, when I have the time I am missing information and then when I don't it seems like everybody else does have something that they have sent in.

Long story short we are still working this thing out. Please be patient and thanks for reading and an extra big thanks to OCC, WVC, KC, LTC, and Bret from Juco Junction for always being on the ball!

*One thing missing is a score for the John A Logan vs. McKendree JV game. There is no press online about this, the NJCAA has nothing and Juco Junction is silent. If anyone knows the score let me know.*

SWIC Win's Pre-Season poll

Looks like SWIC is the winner of our recent poll for who readers thought would win the GRAC this year. SWIC got 63% of the vote. Kaskaskia was a distant 2nd with 18%.

The next poll will be for who people think will be the conference player of the year. Please comment on this entry to who you think it will be. The top 5 responses will get into the poll. Don't let your team's MVP be left behind!

Region 24 Division II

For the Rend Lake fans out there we need to have everyone understand that though they are a Division II team they still compete in the GRAC (all other teams are Division I) . So we are going to cover Rend Lake on this site. Southwestern Illinois is the only GRAC team currently ranked (Coming in at # 7), but don't dispair these polls are something of a guess in my opinion as most of the people compiling the votes know very little about the teams outside of thier Region. (Now this is true for any poll really), but they sure are fun the look at! At least in basketball they let the teams decide the champions on the courts instead of the polls!

Congratulations to the Blue Storm for thier pre-season honors and good luck to all the teams this season.

New Site address

Well if you are reading this you had to take a couple of leaps of faith. First you would either have seen the Blog before, or stumbled upon it. Second you would have to actually take the time to come on over to this new Blog in progress.
