Opening Week 2009-10

The first week of November is going to be a busy one for the Great Rivers Athletic Conference. All 9 teams open up this week. With the NJCAA preseason National Rankings coming out earlier this week, Region 24 sees two teams represented. Southwestern Illinois continues where it left off last year holding a top 5 spot. While John A. Logan is seen in the 27th place. Annual contenders Southeastern Illinois and Wabash Valley look to show the country that they belong in the top 25.
We are excited to start another season and get it underway this week. There are new features this year though the site. For the ease of updating scores, I have added a Twitter and Facebook page, both are linked throught the blog. Add me as a friend on Facebook and Follow me on Twitter. This is how I will be updating scores this season. You can follow my "tweets" in the right hand column of the blog, but can also be followed through www.twitter.com/gracbball.
This will help me update the scores easier from the road when we are traveling, and I can not get to a computer. I will then put them on the blog asap following our return to the office. Hopefully this will help in the process. I am looking for people to update scores from Kaskaskia College, and Wabash Valley. Anyone wanting to give me score updates from any school, to provide up to the minute updates, please email me at grac_basketball@inbox.com.
